Craig Vargas, Founder & Principal Consultant
Craig Vargas brings over 18 years of security leadership experience, including 12 years with the Transportation Security Administration and senior roles overseeing complex operations at Amazon Air. His expertise spans regulatory compliance, covert threat detection, red team operations, and building scalable security programs across regulated and high-risk environments.

At TSA, Craig led multiple national initiatives that increased detection capabilities by over 80% and helped reshape frontline training for 40,000+ employees. His work on Quick Reference Guides streamlined field operations by 74%, becoming a nationwide standard across the agency.

At Amazon, Craig was a founding member of the worlds largest Aviation Security team. He developed threat-based training adopted across the North American network, authored regulatory-aligned policy, and delivered infrastructure solutions that saved over $3.2 million — all while maintaining a flawless TSA compliance record. He also built Security Operations Centers from the ground up, integrating technology, procedures, and staffing models into cohesive 24/7 risk management hubs.
